Brewmaster's Remedies - VR Game

VR Demo (2023)
A Virtual Reality (VR) project made up of 4 teammates Emiliano Aguilar, Andrea Zamudio, Eduardo Paniagua and Fernanda Rosales. I took on the roles of director, project manager and, technical artist.

I created the materials and texture maps for the wall and floor with Parallax Occlusion, as well as using nodes from Substance Designer, so that they were tileable for the floor and wall, the materials for the general environment and, water and glow needed. I textured the game assets from scratch to ensure a uniform and unique aesthetic, unlike any other wood or tavern. This involved painting the assets from Substance Painter.
(3D models by my friend Andrea Zamudio, except for the broom and coin bag).
Subsequently, I developed the particle systems and blueprints necessary to visualize the fire flames from the torches and candles. I created several color curves to have different fire flames for torches and candles, in addition to editing their spawn to have a fire more similar to that of the candles. I made a "poof" for the change of material of the clients and some particles to simulate that water was falling when serving from the mugs.

Textures done in Substance Designer that were used later on with my parallax occlusion material in Unreal to create the illusion of walls within a plane.
